Far Island Consulting was founded in 2002 by David Allsebrook, a Toronto intellectual property lawyer. In 16 years in practice, he saw many inventors and businesses struggle to realize the potential of their inventions. He left the practice of law to offer assistance. David has five academic degrees, including M.B.A., LL.B. and B.C.L. degrees from McGill University in Montreal. While a partner at one of Canada's largest law firms, he specialized in all aspects of intellectual property law. David has handled complex licensing agreements for major multinational corporations. He has represented clients in numerous courts, including the Federal Court Trial Division, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Quebec Superior Court, and the Supreme Court of Canada. |
